A HISTÓRIA DA CONTABILIDADE E A EVOLUÇÃO DA MULHER: EMPODERAMENTO E CRESCIMENTO PROFISSIONAL FEMININO

Abstract

Women are becoming stronger and more professional than ever before. Historical obstacles were overcome or minimized so that new horizons could be envisioned and reached by new professionals. The historical social constitution of the labor market has marginalized women for a long period, dismissing any attempt or underestimating female overcoming. It turns out that the insistence, persistence and professionalism, characteristics that women have in a unique way, made the market more accessible to women's work, and even more so, that the labor market needed these professionals. The scope of this scientific article is to analyze the socio-cultural trajectory of accounting and women, in order to culminate in the situation regarding the performance of women accountants in the labor market. The present work is developed through bibliographic and documentary research, being still used the logical method of dialectic-deductive organization, since it has an approach from the general aspect to the particular. It was inferred from the research that women have excelled academically and in the work environment, in order to break paradigms, overcome prejudices and achieve goals previously imaginable due to the imposed limits.
