Syntropic Agriculture
Keywords:

Syntropic Agriculture is one of the means of production that aims to regenerate degraded soils, making them supplied with nutrients. The present study aimed to present the historical context of the emergence of syntropic agriculture to the present day and the characteristics that lead to the techniques of this type of agriculture being positive in terms of their use. The methodology applied in the article was the Narrative Review, consisting of the introduction, development and references, allowing the reader to acquire and update knowledge on the subject, without providing answers to specific questions. The syntropic agricultural practice was created by Ernst Gotsch and has three basic principles responsible for creating habit changes in the farmer's relationship with nature, food quality and reduced pressure compared to that which the new agricultural practice brings to the ecosystem. Therefore, it is increasingly necessary to disseminate and develop studies on the effectiveness of syntropic agriculture, making it more known, relevant and necessary, whether for large farmers or small farmers.
