Abstract

Increasingly, man has been interfering in nature with the goal, or with the excuse, of improving his way of life. And this environmental impact can be defined as any physical, chemical or biological change in an area of space. However, these changes can both result in something negative and positive for humanity. It is only a few decades into the present that the environment has been constructed as an epistemic object, and identified as a theme concerning research in social sciences. It is assumed that its emergence as a field of study is linked to a process of demand for theoretical analyses capable of articulating the social and the natural. The research was based on the presentation of specific legal provisions, doctrinal understandings, knowledge available on reliable websites and scientific articles that specifically focused on the topic addressed.
