Abstract

This work has as its scope the analysis of the basic principles of the economic order enshrined in the Federal Constitution of 1988, article 170. According to that article, the principles of the economic order are national sovereignty, the social function of property, free competition, defense of the consumer, the protection of the environment, the reduction of regional inequalities, the search for full employment and the favored treatment for small businesses incorporated under Brazilian law and which have their headquarters and administration in the country. In this way, the economic order seeks to value human work and free enterprise, both considered fundamentals of the Federative Republic, and which aim to ensure the dignified existence of citizens. of Unconstitutionality nº 2649, in which Min.
