Abstract

Labor relations have different perspectives which have been shaped throughout history, becoming a reflection of each society that had at least one worker. From situations of slavery to paid work, the fact is that the work process has evolved to better health conditions for workers. The changes that have taken place throughout history elevate the process of adaptation of human beings, especially to work, since it is a considerable part of life in society. This process brings to light that work is not only an object of survival, but also of health, both defended as citizenship rights. The work environment has several stressors which may be characteristic of the profession itself or even disseminated by those who live in the work environment. Among all the factors that can generate a hostile and stressful workplace, bullying is of utmost importance given that it occurs in a veiled way, at least initially, and usually results from those with the power to command. There is currently no specific legislation of its own regarding workplace bullying. Given the specific case, it is through analogy or general principles that the Labor Court seeks the resolution of these conflicts. The present work is developed through the bibliographic and documentary research, being also used the logical method of dialectical-deductive organization, since it has approach from the general aspect to the particular one.
