Ocorrência de Anodorhyncus hyacinthinus em Iporá, estado de Goiás, Brasil

Abstract

We present three records of Anodorhyncus hyacinthinus in Iporá, state of Goiás, Brazil: two in an environmental protection area and one in its surroundings. Both, the EPA and its proximity, an agro-pastoral landscape of dairy cattle in small properties, have, probably, enough resources for the survival and reproduction of individuals of this species. Similarly, western Goiás may be another important area in which the population of A. hyacinthinus is concentrated, since most of its recent records are concentrated in this region. We recommend further studies for a most comprehension of this species, in Iporá and throughout Central Brazil.
