BALANÇO AMBIENTAL E O SEU REFLEXO NA PREFEITURA MUNICIPAL DE JUSSARA

Abstract

Currently, society is more concerned with the environment and has drawn the attention of society and especially of companies that demonstrate greater awareness of the importance of environmental balance. Therefore, Environmental Accounting emerged, which is a mechanism that enables the financial development of companies and the constant preservation of nature. The objective of this article is to demonstrate the importance of the Environmental Balance and presents the investments made by the Municipality of Jussara – GO in the environmental area, demonstrating that the theme has a wide area of ​​action. In addition, it stands out for being a mechanism that enables companies to maintain their development and at the same time manage to use environmental resources sustainably, complying with what is determined by laws. Through the research, it was possible to observe the constant need for investments in the environmental area and the need for care in preserving the environment.
